What's been happening at BuildPromoteProfitTIPS.com?
Well...
Jan
07, 2009:
In February, 2008 I decided to build another website. No
big deal, really. Except, this time, I decided to build a Site Build It! website
AND follow the Action Guide. And, today, that website - SelfHelpCollective.com
- gets 200+ (and increasing monthly) unique visitors per day (and I will monetize
soon)...
Yes, SelfHelpCollective.com - a guru-free self-help website - was conceived, built, hosted (and more) using SBI!. But when I bought SBI! I had no idea I was going to be building a self-help website (As you'll see if you read my SBI! diary.)
And this is one of the many differences between building a site the SBI! ('success') way rather than the more conventional ('success if you're lucky') way.
- It all begins with reading (or listening to) the SBI! Action Guide.
- Then you brainstorm (read: market research) ideas for your website - 3 ideas get reduced to 1.
- Then you plan that website.
- Than you look for ways to make money from that site.
- And then you build, one page at a time, the site, according to the 'content is king philosphy contained in the free-to-read 'Make Your Content PREsell'....
(The process can be summed up by C-T-P-M - Content, Traffic, PREsell, Monetize)
Overall, it's a 'ten day' process that can take you weeks, months or even years to complete, but it's a process that quite literally means - IF you follow the steps exactly - that your website WILL succeed!
Yes, it takes a while, and yes there are quicker ways to create a website (and cheaper ways to host it), but the SBI! methodology comes with success guaranteed (well, as guaranteed as any success can be - the individual must work, work, work to create pages and build inbound links, just as with any other website, but still...)
And that's why I recommend SBI! to friends and family alike. I recommend it to you, too! :-)
This website, BuildPromoteProfitiTIPS.com, is all about building, promoting and profiting from your website. And I can think of no better way to do this than to buy a Site Build It! website.
$299 per year - the cost of SBI! - may seem like a lot of money, but it isn't if the website you produce earns you an income of thousands per month - is it? And that is my aim with SelfHelpCollective.com. (Plus paying a few dollars a month in web hosting but wasting a year of your life on a website that fails seems much more expensive - to me, anyway!)
Watch this space, eh! :-)
(Or if you're too impatient, try and do this yourself with your own Site Build It! website!)
Feb 21, 2007:
I followed my
own advice and added meaningful page titles to my tips pages. This is bound to
improve both search engine ranking and the likelihood that someone will click
thru to the site, too.
For example, when you do a search for 'recommended autoresponders' on Google you find a listing for Build Promote Profit Tips that looks like this:
That page title just does not encourage clicks, whereas Tips 12, Recommended Autoresponders,... does, don't you think. (Ideally, I'd change the page name too.)
By the way are you interested in recommended autoresponders ? :-)
Nov
30, 2006:
I added a page called My
Daily Insights to enable other people to receive a daily dosage of business
wisdom in their email inbox.
The emails are quick to read, and usually get me thinking about my attitude to work (or play!) or about what I'm actually trying to achieve. I recommend subscribing, for sure.
Learn more about My Daily Insights here!
Oct 04, 2006:
Transferred
my popular 'stop spam' and 'remove
spyware' articles from one of my other sites to this BPP tips website (where
it's more appropriate).
I also moved my Site Build It! review (and explanation) to this site, too.
Feb 28,
2006:
I transferred my popular mailing list, Build-Promote-Profit-Tips
online, using a ready-made site template and promoted it via Aweber's
autoresponder.
You can find out why I did this on the about us page. (Should you be interested.)
And if you're interested in the template I used to build this site, then these are links related to the template Andreas01.
My thanks go to Andreas Viklund for letting me build my first ever site, without tables, using his template!
