What is a 404 page?
If you've used the Internet much, chances are that you've suffered the dreaded 404 error! Simply put, you've visited a page that no longer exists. This occurs when pages get renamed, or when someone types in an incorrect web address. The thing is, 404 errors can be avoided, and a specific 404 page can be delivered to your visitor instead.

Inbound links to your site are becoming more and more important for search engine ranking. Sites that have lots of links to them - 'popular sites' - are deemed more important by the search engines (especially Google), and hence can get a higher ranking. AND links to your site also bring visitors to your site.
You can find out how popular your site is by using the following tools:
